POETRY
Poetry is my most personal and frequent expression of writing, for it isn’t just a form of written-word — it’s a way of existing. Our thoughts, our reactions to our experiences during existence are so valuable, and can teach us greatly about how we interact with the world around us. I’ve found that my poetry is a sort of mental guide or stepping stone. My writing process is one great big ponder. Playing with the senses, bending time, and enhancing a narrative point of view is what my poetry aims to do. My words can help me to document, to re-live sensational moments in time. From my living room floor to the sea to my childhood tree to the mind of lover to places I’ve never seen - poetry lives in it all!
